All orders will be delivered or shipped on a Prepaid basis unless an application has been approved for open net term account. Personal checks will not be accepted. All C.O.D orders must be paid in full at time of pick up or delivery. All Merchandise remains property of Katz Tires until paid in full.
All shipping and handling charges are to be paid by the customer unless prior arrangements are made at the time of sale.
Katz Tires will accept unused returns within 30 days of the original sale. Unused returns over 30 days will be assessed a 20% restocking fee. Return requests over 45 days will not be accepted. All returns must have prior approval and must be accompanied by a return authorization number. All return shipments must be sent in the original packaging, freight prepaid. Any freight collect shipments will be refused. Do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure merchandise being returned to Katz Tires is packaged properly. Wheels must be bagged and placed in a box that is durable enough to withstand rough handling by freight carriers. Double boxing and the use of foam sheets is highly recommended. Wheels and tires that have been mounted will not be accepted for return under any circumstances. It is the customer's responsibility to fit check wheels before mounting. Wheels that have been custom machined or have had custom work (plating, polishing, powder coated, etc.) are not returnable. Tires will not be accepted without the attached tire label. Any merchandise that is sold on clearance or special order is not returnable.
For wheel/tire package purchases, you are responsible for test fitting the products before driving on any products. Once wheels/tires have been mounted on the vehicle, we cannot accept a return. If you have any concerns about fitment, please share those concerns before you place your order.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS OF OR ISSUE REFUNDS FOR WHEELS OR TIRES ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN MOUNTED OR IF THE WHEEL OR TIRE HAS MILEAGE ON IT. WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS FOR SUSPENSION/ACCESSORY ITEMS (THAT ARE NOT WARRANTY-RELATED) THAT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED OR ATTEMPTED TO BE INSTALLED AND SHOW EVIDENCE OF THE SAME.
WE OFFER NO REFUNDS ON ANY PRODUCTS DESIGNATED ON THIS SITE AS NON-RETURNABLE OR FINAL SALE.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will contact you to notify that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Term accounts will receive a credit on account. All refunds and credits will be applied minus labor, repair, shipping and/or restocking fees.
Claims for shortage or error must be made within 3 days of receipt of shipment. Claims for merchandise damaged or lost in transit must be made at time of receipt and documented immediately with the carrier. It will be the shipper's responsibility to file any claims with the carrier. Claims not made or handled within the specified period may not be honored.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Returns for defective merchandise must have prior approval and must be accompanied by a return authorization number. Merchandise must be sent to Katz Tires freight prepaid. Freight or labor charges incurred will not be reimbursed. Damage to merchandise caused by shipping, handling, installation, collision, vandalism, neglect, mechanical defects of a vehicle, racing or willful abuse is not covered under any warranty. Road hazard damage caused by potholes, road construction, curbs, railroad tracks, uneven road surfaces, nail holes, etc., are not covered under warranty.
Wheels are warranted for a period of one year from the original date of sale against defects of materials or workmanship such as peeling, flaking or blistering of plating. This warranty does not cover corrosion or discoloration caused by chemicals, detergents, polishing compound or coarse abrasives used in cleaning. Using these types of products can permanently damage your wheels and will void your warranty. Always run cool water on wheels before cleaning. Failing to cool wheels before cleaning can cause discoloration. Clean wheels frequently with mild soap and warm water. Freight and expenses incurred for labor and mounting or dismounting of tires are not covered by this warranty. This warranty is void if wheels are damaged with nicks from improper tire mounting, improper installation, accident, or curb damage, normal wear and tear, neglect or road impact. Pits and minor imperfections on a newly chromed wheels are results of the manufacturing process and are not plating defects. Used wheels are sold as is. This warranty is not transferable.
Powder Coated wheels are warranted for a period of three years from the original date of sale against defects of materials or workmanship such as peeling or flaking. This warranty does not cover corrosion or discoloration caused by chemicals, detergents, or coarse abrasives used in cleaning. Using these types of products can permanently damage your wheels and will void your warranty. Always run cool water on wheels before cleaning. Failing to cool wheels before cleaning can cause discoloration. Clean wheels frequently with mild soap and warm water. This warranty is void if wheels are damaged with nicks from improper tire mounting, improper installation, accident, or curb damage, rock chips, neglect or road impact.
Tires are warranted by the tire manufacturer against material defects. Performance, Summer, and Competition tires do not carry any treadwear warranty. There is no warranty on tires damaged from vehicle conditions, road conditions, driving conditions or from being driven flat.
